FSA ID
The FSA ID (account username and password) allows students and parents to identify themselves electronically to access Federal Student Aid websites. Both student and parent will need to make a FSA ID to complete the FAFSA application. PARENTS: If you previously created an FSA ID when you were a student, you don’t need to create another one. You can only have one FSA ID linked to your Social Security number.

FAFSA
FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. When you submit this application, you can be considered for federal aid money in grants (Pell Grant) and loans (subsidized and unsubsidized) and some need-based scholarships and programs within universities. It is important to fill out the FAFSA because some schools require it for other funding opportunities.
Unfortunately, this year FAFSA looks different. FAFSA applications may open in December. As this is new, please extend grace as we all work through these challenges together!
